Buffalo Bills running backs Marshawn Lynch and Fred Jackson will miss the rest of the preseason with injuries.
Jackson suffered a broken hand while Lynch is battling a strained groin after the first preseason game.
That means rookie running back C.J. Spiller will see a significant workload increase, something the Bills were hoping to avoid.

Buffalo Bills running back Marshawn Lynch appears to be stuck and going nowhere fast for the time being.
Trade rumors have circled around the Buffalo running back in the offseason and only grew louder when the team selected C.J. Spiller in the first round of the NFL Draft.
Now comes word that Spiller is going to be running with the first team in practice, pushing Lynch down the depth chart.
With the draft having come and gone, it seems like a player-for-player trade is the only way Lynch leaves Buffalo. ( Read More…)

Buffalo Bills quarterback Trent Edwards will open training camp as the starter.
However, that is not set in stone by any means, as an intense training camp battle is expected.
Brian Brohm and Ryan Fitzpatrick are both expected to have a shot at winning the starting job.
New head coach Chan Gailey spent much of the offseason praising Brohm, making it seem like he might have the inside track for the job. ( Read More…)
