Bills trade Lynch to Seahawks

The Buffalo Bills have finally traded running back Marshawn Lynch, sending him to the Seattle Seahawks.

In return, the Bills received a fourth-round draft pick.

The Bills probably could have received at least that much for Lynch over the summer, but elected not to deal him.

He was clearly not happy in Buffalo, and the team is very deep at running back with Fred Jackson and rookie C.J. Spiller. ( Read More…)

Bills crushed by Jets, 38-14

The Buffalo Bills didn’t have the offense or defense necessary to compete in a 38-14 loss to the New York Jets.

Buffalo did get two touchdown passes from quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick, but one came during garbage time in the fourth quarter.

Fitzpatrick only passed for 128 yards in the game, and the Bills running attack didn’t fare much better.

Fitzpatrick actually finished as the team’s leading rusher with 72 yards on the ground, and the other three running backs combined for just 40 yards. ( Read More…)

Bills release Edwards

After two disappointing starts to begin the season, the Buffalo Bills have released quarterback Trent Edwards.

The Bills spent the past couple of days shopping Edwards, but they didn’t find anyone interested in his services. That comes as little surprise.

It’s an interesting move for the Bills to just cut him since head coach Chan Gailey said he thought Edwards was turning the corner just a few weeks ago.

It also leaves the team with career backup Ryan Fitzpatrick and the very inexperienced Brian Brohm as the top two quarterbacks. ( Read More…)
